Majed al-Nazili, spokesperson for the Yemeni army, said on Monday, October 5, that forces from the Saudi-led coalition had regained control of the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Al-Nazili also announced the launch of what he called a “strategic offensive on Sana’a” by Yemeni armed forces.
Al Arabiya Al Hadath reported that fighting had taken place on the Marib front over the past several hours, with government forces advancing toward positions controlled by the Houthis. It also reported that, along the Sana’a–Marib axis, government forces had taken control of the Madghal district from the group.
